Bangalore Nano 2008, the 2nd edition of India 's largest Industry event on Nanotechnology is scheduled on 11th to 13th December 2008, at Bangalore . The event is intended to be a place for the global nano-technology community to meet, collaborate and do business. HIGHLIGHTS OF 1st BANGALORE NANO
- European Commission had participated in Bangalore Nano 2007 as the Country Partner.
- International Speakers from EU , UK , USA , Australia and leaders of Nano from India participated in the Conference.
- H. E. Shri. Rameshwar Thakur handed over the document of 14 acres of land allotted to Nanotechnology Research Centre, to Prof. M.R.S. Rao, President, JNCASR.
- Prof. C. N. R. Rao was conferred the first Bangalore Nano National Award for 2007, recognizing his awe-inspiring achievements in the field of Nanotechnology.
- 19 presenters from different companies and Research Institutes showcased emerging technologies to a diverse audience which primarily included Industries and Venture Capitalists.
- Over 56 Poster presenters representing best of Research and Academic Institutes made detailed presentations. This activity was well received by every one.
